All Weatherford facilities in the Houston, TX and South Louisiana
areas will be open for normal business activity on Monday, September
22nd with the following exceptions.
The 520 Post Oak Boulevard building will remain closed
until further notice. However, all employees should have been in contact with
their supervisors at this point regarding plans for alternate work locations.
The Weatherford Training and Technology Center at Spencer Rd. is
expected to be open Monday for normal business. If the situation changes,
employees will be contacted by their management team prior to Monday.
Employees working at the following facilities should contact their
local management team throughout the day for an updated status on power
restoration and scheduled openings:

with the following exceptions.
Kingwood e-Productions will be OPEN,
but the opening will be delayed until 10:00 am on Friday.
Gulf Bank Completions will be OPEN,
but the opening will be delayed until 9:00 am on Friday.
The following facilities will remain closed:
Weatherford Training and Technology Center at Spencer Rd.

All Weatherford facilities in the Houston, TX and South Louisiana
areas will be open for normal business activity on Thursday, September
18th with the following exceptions. The following facilities will
remain closed:
Weatherford Training and Technology Center at Spencer Rd.
Gulf Bank Completions will be closed for normal
business with the exception of key personnel and those that have already been
contacted directly by their manager.
520 Post Oak Boulevard will remain closed on
Thursday. However, all Accounts Payable employees should report for work at the
515 Post Oak Boulevard location – 6th floor conference rooms at
their regularly scheduled times. The Corporate Marketing team will be relocated
to the Marathon building and should contact their supervisor for further
instructions.
Kingwood e-Productions will be closed for normal
business on Thursday, however all Supervisors and Managers will be expected to
report by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday as previously instructed. Regular business is
expected to resume for all other employees on Friday, September 19th
at the regularly scheduled time. The information pertaining to this location
will be updated as and when necessary.

Hurricane Ike, we would like to reiterate that the safety and wellbeing of
Weatherford employees and their families is our first and foremost concern.

ADDITIONAL TELEPHONE INFORMATION REGARDING HURRICANE IKE
As previously communicated, information regarding your work location may be
obtained by calling 866-836-2881 for everyone outside the Houston area and
713-693-7993 for everyone within the local Houston area. Work location updates
will be provided via telephone beginning Sunday evening. Or, we have
established an additional emergency telephone number to handle the expected
multiple incoming calls. The additional line is 877-933-4401. If you are forced
to evacuate, please dial 1-800-736-6456 and leave the following information:
• Your name
• Your supervisors name
• Your exact work location
• Your temporary contact information
This information is important to track the location of all evacuated
Weatherford employees. It is not necessary to contact this number if you have
not evacuated.
Weatherford’s Crisis Management Team
Hurricane Ike – September 12th 11:00 AM CDT
Due to the expected landfall of Hurricane Ike, Weatherford locations in Southeast
Texas should begin suspending operations at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September
11, 2008. Operations will be closed for business on Friday, September 12 and
will remain closed throughout the weekend. It is anticipated that Weatherford
will resume normal operations on Monday, September 15, 2008. All locations
should have their emergency contingency plans implemented no later than the
close of business today.
Office locations in the Houston area, including 515 Post Oak, 15710 JFK,
Spencer Road and other coastal Southeast Texas locations should immediately
being securing their offices by powering down and unplugging electronic
equipment, moving at risk equipment and important documents to an inside office
or hallway not exposed to windows. Mini-blinds and curtains on exterior windows
and interior doors should be closed. It is critical that all electronic
equipment be unplugged to prevent damage to the equipment and to eliminate
potential fire hazards. It is recommended that each facility have at least one person
designated as responsible for assuring that electronic equipment is properly
protected before final evacuation. Please make it your personal responsibility
to see that your office and electronic equipment are prepared for the storm.
As has been communicated in the past, a toll free number can be accessed for
specific information regarding how operations at individual locations have been
affected by the storm. Information may be obtained by calling 866-836-2881 for
everyone outside the Houston area and 713-693-7993 for everyone within the
local Houston area. In addition, Weatherford will make every effort to notify
local media with the most current information on office closures.
